At the risk of sounding incredibly ignorant, do they play baseball, basketball or American football?
Okay, I've found out and even better, they've won. Go Sox!
Thanks! Yes, they're the world champions, even though the "World" Series is only played among American baseball teams, not teams from other countries that play baseball like Japan or the Dominican Republic, so I don't really understand that. But yeah, they won!
And there's a big hoo-hah because Guliani supports them instead of the Yankees - see, I'm now an expert!
Wow, Steerforth, I'm impressed! Now I feel compelled to learn everything I can about cricket, in this spirit of international sportsmanship!
